Your goal in this game is to control the Math Man to consume all the ghosts in the mazes after solving the equations. When the game opens, the ghosts will start to hunt the Math Man. Use the four arrow keys on your keyboard to control the Math Man, and move him to the location of the special food labeled with a question mark. Then an equation will appear at the bottom of the screen, and you need to find out the answer. You may also revisit the special food to receive another equation. When you have obtained the answer, the Math Man can eat the ghost with the number of the answer. Then you need to visit the special food again to receive another question. Continue the process until all ghosts are consumed, and you can proceed to the next level. The Math Man will start the game with 3 lives, but if he is caught by a ghost before he visits the special food or if he catches a wrong ghost, one life will be deducted. The object of the game is simply to complete each level. The game is divided into five sections with each section containing three levels for a total of fifteen levels in the entire game. Use the right and left arrow keys for movement and the up arrow key to jump. You will face two opponents in the game. The first opponent (a goblin) can be destroyed by either jumping on his head or by using a bomb. The second opponent (a small dinosaur) can only be destroyed by using a bomb. To plant a bomb simply press the space key. Just do not forget to run after planting the bomb because you can also be killed by the bomb when it explodes. There are also spikes in the game which you must jump over. To finish each level reach the exit sign and do not forget to collect gold coins as you advance through each level to get a good score. When the game starts, the porcupine will get ready at the starting point. Press the left and right arrow keys on your keyboard alternatively, and the porcupine will start to run. After taking off, a column of arrows will appear on the right of the screen. You need to press the corresponding arrow keys on your keyboard, starting with the arrow at the bottom of the column, so that the porcupine can leap over the bar.
